Pass through boxes and windows

Pass through boxes and windows separate rooms of different cleanliness classes. They are used to transport materials and their packaging from the unclean area to the clean area and vice versa. For example - for transfer of materials and instruments between operating room and sterilization room. By controlling the opening of the entrance and exit doors and ventilating inner space with clean air, the pass through box prevents contamination of the cleanroom.

The transfer window forms a sealed closed cavity and prevents air flows from one room to another. It has sound and light indicators that give a signal to lock, when one of the doors of the transfer window is opened.

In addition to passive pass through boxes and windows, medical modules can be equipped with active pass through boxes. An active pass through box also represents a physical barrier between two different cleanliness classes. This box is designed as a pass through box with a system of blocking the simultaneous opening of two doors for effective cleaning of suspended dust from contamination and safe separation of zones with different cleanliness classes during material transportation, preventing their contamination by dust particles. In addition to the national requirements for clean areas, this active pass through boxes meet international standards: “EN ISO 1644-1” Cleanrooms and associated controlled environments; GMP "Good Manufacturing Practice".
